Urethane models like this one are good from -65°F up to 220°F.

these stretch for install and snap back into place -- how's that work out in practice for somebody doing a bunch of seals in a row? does it slow you down much?

Urethane has enough natural elasticity that you can stretch the ring over the groove and it'll seat itself without needing tools or special technique. For production work or repeat installations, that snap-back behavior actually keeps things moving pretty well since you're not fussing with alignment. The 90A durometer gives it enough firmness to hold its shape once it's seated, so you're not dealing with a ring that stays deformed or bunches up after stretching.
