got a tight spot on a hydraulic line. does this elbow adapter turn the flow 90 degrees while going from BSPP to NPTF?

For tight clearances, the 90° elbow shape lets you change direction while adapting between thread systems. One end is a G 3/4 - 14 BSPP male and the other is a 3/4 - 14 NPTF male, so it is meant to bridge those two styles in a compact turn.
