got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC, will this elbow mate up to it and then go into an M14 x 1.5 port?

Side 1 is a male 9/16 - 18 UNF JIC (3/8 inch size) and side 2 is a male M14 x 1.5 metric (14 mm size). It is made to connect those two thread types in a 90 degree elbow.

Got a piece of equipment running M14 x 1.5 metric ports and need to tie in some JIC hose ends at a right angle, this the fitting that'd work for that?

That's what this one handles. One side is a 9/16-18 UNF male JIC, the other is M14 x 1.5 male metric, and the 90-degree elbow puts those two at a right angle to each other. Both sides are male, so make sure your mating ports are female on both ends before ordering.
