got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 UNF JIC on one side and the other side is M18 x 1.5. is this the straight adapter for that?

For connecting those two thread types in a straight fitting, that is exactly what this part is. Side 1 is a male JIC with a 3/4 - 16 UNF thread, and Side 2 is a male metric with an M18 x 1.5 thread, with a seal on the metric side.
