Product Questions & Answers

adapter's only 36.8mm long, that gonna be enough thread engagement on both ends to hold up in a high-vibration line?
Question by: Phil O on Sep 13, 2025, 9:39 AM
At 36.8mm total length, there's enough body to achieve proper thread engagement on both the 3/4-16 UNF JIC side and the M14 x 1.5 metric side under normal installation torque. The straight, fixed geometry means no articulating joints to loosen over time, which actually helps in vibration-prone setups. As long as both mating ports are clean and the seal is seated correctly on the metric end, you should get a solid, leak-free connection.

got a hose end thats 1/2 JIC with the 3/4-16 threads. will this screw right into a metric port thats M14 x 1.5?
Question by: Curt R on Apr 15, 2025, 1:57 PM
For joining those two standards, it’s the right style of adapter. One side is a male JIC 1/2 inch with 3/4-16 UNF threads, and the other side is a male metric M14 x 1.5, so it bridges between them in a straight fitting.
