Got a line coming off a British-made pump with R 1/4-19 BSPT threads and I need to tie into a JIC fitting on the other end. This elbow gonna work for that?

That's what this fitting is built for. One end is a 7/16-20 UNF JIC male and the other is an R 1/4-19 BSPT male, both at 1/4" size. So bridging a BSPT port to a JIC connection is a straight shot with this piece. Steel construction keeps it solid under pressure and the threading is machined to hold a leak-resistant seal at both ends.

trying to hook a 1/4 JIC line into a 1/4 BSPT port, is this the right elbow for that

For that kind of thread mix, it matches up as a 90 degree steel elbow with a 7/16-20 UNF JIC male on one end and an R 1/4-19 BSPT male on the other, both in 1/4 inch size.
