Is this elbow fitting steel all the way through? Just want to make sure it can handle the pressures in my hydraulic system.

Got a line coming off a British-made valve block with G 3/4-14 ports, and I need to swing it 45 degrees to clear a frame rail before connecting to JIC fittings on the rest of the system. This fitting do that job?

That's the kind of situation this fitting handles. One end is a 3/4" male BSPP with G 3/4-14 thread, and the other is a 3/4" male JIC running 1-1/16-12 UN thread. The 45-degree angle is built in, and because it's adjustable, you can clock the outlet to whatever position clears your frame rail before you lock it down. Steel construction, so it'll hold up in a working hydraulic environment without any fuss.
