Product Questions & Answers

What size are the connections on this elbow?
Question by: Shawn G on Sep 11, 2025, 12:39 PM
One side features a 3/4" male JIC connection (1-1/16 - 12 UN), while the other has a 1/2" male BSPP connection (G 1/2 - 14).

Got a machine running BSPP ports and my hydraulic lines are JIC fittings, will this elbow let me tie them together at an angle without needing some kind of adapter stack?
Question by: Ray H on Sep 21, 2025, 7:54 AM
That's what this fitting is built for. One end is a 3/4" male JIC (1-1/16 - 12 UN thread) and the other is a 1/2" male BSPP (G 1/2 - 14 thread), so it bridges those two thread standards in a single piece. The 45-degree angle helps when you need to redirect a line without forcing a sharp bend or fighting tight clearances around other components. Both channel widths measure 27mm, and the overall lengths are 31mm on one side and 40mm on the other, so you can plan your spacing before install.

got a hose with a 3/4 male JIC end and the port i’m going into is G 1/2 BSPP. is this the right elbow to marry those up
Question by: Wayne E on Sep 10, 2025, 7:24 PM
For that mix of thread types, it matches what you described. One side is a 3/4 inch male JIC with 1-1/16 - 12 UN threads, and the other side is a 1/2 inch male BSPP with G 1/2 - 14 threads, built as a 45 degree elbow.
