both sides on this fitting are male BSPP? just want to make sure before I order, got burned before buying something I thought was male/female

Both connections are male BSPP, yes. Side 1 is the 3/4 inch with a G 3/4-14 thread, and Side 2 is the 1/2 inch with a G 1/2-14 thread. So you'd need female BSPP ports or fittings on whatever you're connecting it to on both ends.

What size threads does this thing have on each end? Just wanna make sure it'll fit my setup.

It has a 3/4" male BSPP thread on one end (G 3/4 - 14 callout) and a 1/2" male BSPP thread on the other (G 1/2 - 14 callout).

got a hose end that’s G 3/4 - 14 and i need to turn it 90 degrees into a G 1/2 - 14 port. is this the right elbow?

For that setup, it matches. Side 1 is a male BSPP G 3/4 - 14 with a 3/4 inch size, and Side 2 is a male BSPP G 1/2 - 14 with a 1/2 inch size, built as a 90 degree elbow.
