trying to get a hose to turn a corner without kinkin it up, is this a 45 degree elbow and are both ends the same thread?

Built as a 45° elbow, it gives you that angled change in direction while keeping the connection size the same on both sides. Both ends are 3/4 inch male BSPP with the G 3/4 - 14 thread callout.

got a hydraulic line that needs to make a 45 degree turn and both ports are 3/4 BSPP male, will this fitting work for that?

For same-size 3/4" BSPP male-to-male connections that need a 45 degree directional change, yeah this is exactly what you'd want. Both sides are G 3/4-14 male BSPP threads, so the thread spec matches up on each end. The 45 degree elbow shape handles the directional change, and the adjustable end on one side lets you rotate it into position during installation so you're not fighting the fitting to get your line pointed the right way.
