trying to swap out an elbow on a line, is this one male bspP to female bspP and both ends 1/2?

Both ends are BSPP with a G 1/2 - 14 callout, and it is a male on one side and a female on the other. Each end is listed as 1/2 inch size.

It’s 27mm across for both the male and female ends, so you can use the same wrench on either side.

both ends on this fitting are the same size, right? just wanna make sure before i order, 1/2" BSPP on each side?

Correct on both counts. The male end and the female end are each 1/2" BSPP with a G 1/2 - 14 thread callout. So if you're working with a run of same-size BSPP line and need a 45-degree change in direction, this fitting matches up on both sides without any reduction or step-down.
