both ends are female BSPP on this thing, right? just want to make sure before i order -- got two female ports that need to connect and i dont want to end up with the wrong piece

Correct on both counts. Each end carries a female BSPP connection with a G 3/4 - 14 thread callout and a 3/4" size, so if both your ports are male BSPP at that same thread spec, this coupling bridges them straight through without any adapters in between.
