got a valve body with a 1/4 BSPT port, will this adapter let me hook up a 1/4 NPTF fitting to it?

It bridges those two thread standards in a straight steel connector. One side is male BSPT R 1/4 - 19, and the other side is female 1/4 - 18 NPTF, so it is meant for exactly that kind of BSPT-to-NPT connection.
