i’ve got a bulkhead fitting going through a thin panel, is this the kind of nut that locks it down on the backside?

Got a panel I'm running some hydraulic lines through and need to lock down the bulkhead fitting real good. This the right kind of nut for that?

For securing a bulkhead fitting through a panel or bracket, yeah, this is exactly what you're after. It threads onto the fitting from the backside and clamps everything tight against the panel surface. The female G 3/8-19 BSPP thread matches up with standard 3/8 BSPP bulkhead fittings, so if your fitting is sized and threaded to match, this locknut will do the job.
