trying to step down from a 3/8 BSPP line to 1/4 BSPP, is that what this bushing does?

For reducing between two BSPP sizes, it goes from a male G 3/8 - 19 on side 1 to a female G 1/4 - 19 on side 2, and it is a straight steel bushing.
