Got a 3/8 BSPP port on a manifold block and need to run a 1/4 BSPP line off it, will this bushing handle that transition straight through?

That's exactly what it's built for. The female end is G 3/8 - 19 BSPP and the male end is G 1/4 - 19 BSPP, so it steps down from the larger port to the smaller line in a single piece. Steel construction holds up fine in hydraulic circuits and industrial fluid systems, and the straight body keeps the flow path direct with no angle change. At 34.8mm long with a 22mm across-flats, it gives you more thread engagement than a standard short hex bushing, which can matter when clearance around the port is tight.
