Got a piece of equipment running BSPP fittings on the metric side and NPT ports on the hydraulic line, will this adapter handle that crossover straight up?

Yeah, that's exactly what this fitting is built for. One end is 1/8" male NPT (1/8-27 NPTF) and the other is 1/4" female BSPP (G 1/4-19), so it bridges that thread form gap without any adapters in between or thread compatibility headaches. Steel construction holds up well across hydraulic fluid media and typical working pressures you'd see in industrial circuit work. Just keep in mind the female BSPP end is fixed, not swivel, so you'll want your line orientation sorted out before you torque it down.
