got a 1 inch BSPP male port on a pump and need to tie into a system that runs SAE O-Ring Boss fittings. this the right adapter to bridge that gap?

For that exact crossover, yes. One end of this adapter is a 1 inch male BSPP thread, spec'd at G 1-11, and the other end is a 1 inch female O-Ring Boss at 1-5/16-12 UN.
