got a hose with a 3/8 BSPT male end and i need to go into a 3/8 BSPP female port. is this the right adapter?

Built for that exact thread change, it has an R 3/8 - 19 male BSPT on one side and a G 3/8 - 19 female BSPP on the other, in a straight steel adapter.
