got a -8 hose i'm trying to terminate with a female JIC swivel end, does this fitting work for that?

For a -8 hose, the compatible hose ID on this fitting is 3/8 inch, and the JIC end is a 3/4-16 thread with the standard 37 degree flare seat. The swivel feature on the female end lets you rotate it during assembly without twisting the hose, which makes life a lot easier when you're working in a tight spot. Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives it solid corrosion resistance for most hydraulic environments.
