Got a piece of equipment running BSPP on one port and JIC on the other, this fitting supposed to handle that kind of crossover in a straight shot?

One end is a G 5/8-14 female BSPP and the other is a 7/8-14 UNF female JIC swivel, so it bridges those two thread standards in a single straight fitting without needing extra adapters or couplings in between. Can I use this to adapt from a BSPP fitting to a JIC on my tractor?
