what's the thread size on the metric end of this fitting, and will it mate up with an M18 x 1.5 port?

the male metric side is M18 x 1.5, so if your port is calling out that same thread, you're good to go. The female JIC end is 9/16-18 UNF, which corresponds to a 3/8" JIC size. That's the whole point of this adapter, bridging a metric threaded connection on one side to a JIC swivel on the other without needing extra pieces in between.
