Got a machine here running 3/4 NPT ports and the component I'm hooking into has a 1/2 BSPP female port on it. This fitting bridge that gap straight across?

Yeah, that's exactly what this one's for. The male end is 3/4-14 NPTF, which threads right into your NPT port, and the female swivel side accepts a 1/2 BSPP connection at G 1/2-14. For mixed thread standards, it matches that combo: one side is a 3/4 inch male NPTF thread (3/4-14) and the other side is a 1/2 inch female BSPP swivel (G 1/2-14).
