got a JIC fitting on my hydraulic line and need to tie into a metric flat face port on some equipment we picked up, this the right adapter for that?

That's exactly the crossover this part handles. One end is a 3/4-16 UNF male JIC, which is your standard 1/2" JIC fitting. The other end is a female M22 x 1.5 metric flat face port connection. Steel construction, straight body, so it threads right in without any angles or offsets to work around. If your line ends in a male JIC and your port is a 22mm metric flat face, this adapter bridges that gap cleanly.
