got a metric flat face port on a manifold that's M18 x 1.5 and need to tie into a JIC line on the other end, this the right fitting for that?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a 3/8" Male JIC with a 9/16-18 UNF thread, and the other end is a Female Metric Flat Face at M18 x 1.5. Straight configuration, steel construction, so it'll hold up in a standard hydraulic hydraulic connections setup without any fuss.
