Product Questions & Answers

Will this here fitting hold up alright in a hydraulic system running about 2500 psi? Don't want no leaks!
Question by: Randy T on May 6, 2025, 8:17 PM
Constructed from durable steel, this adapter should provide a robust connection for hydraulic systems. It's designed for demanding environments where reliable fluid transfer is essential.

Got a fitting that keeps wanting to rotate on me mid-line, would swapping in a male JIC to female JIC swivel fix that kind of problem?
Question by: Rick M on Jul 7, 2025, 8:44 AM
A swivel on the female end is exactly what handles that situation. The female side of this fitting is designed to rotate freely, which lets you make up a connection without twisting the hose or locking yourself into one orientation. Both sides are 5/8" JIC on a 7/8-14 UNF thread, so as long as your existing fittings match that spec, you can drop this in and take the torque stress off your line.

trying to swap an adapter out, are both ends on this one 7/8-14 UNF and 5/8 JIC?
Question by: Lee L on Sep 3, 2025, 9:09 AM
Both sides are JIC with a 7/8 - 14 UNF thread callout, sized as 5/8 inch. One end is male JIC and the other is a female JIC swivel.
