Will this fitting work with a standard JIC setup, or is it some kinda proprietary thing?

This is a standard male JIC to female JIC swivel fitting, made of steel for durability. It'll work with any standard JIC connection of the correct size.

trying to match up an old fitting, is this one a straight male JIC to female JIC swivel with 1/2 on one end and 3/4 on the other?

For fit and thread details, this is a straight Adaptall steel fitting with a male JIC on side 1 sized 1/2 inch with a 3/4 - 16 UNF callout, and a female JIC swivel on side 2 sized 3/4 inch with a 1-1/16 - 12 UN callout.
