Got a piece of equipment running a G 1/2 BSPP port and I need to hook up an M18 x 1.5 metric DIN tube line to it, this fitting gonna bridge that gap?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a G 1/2 - 14 male BSPP thread, and the other accepts a female M18 x 1.5 metric DIN tube connection at size L12. So if your equipment port is male BSPP and your tube line terminates in a female metric DIN fitting, this adapter connects them straight through. No reducers or extra pieces needed for that combination.

Will this fitting hold up if I'm using it with hydraulic fluid? Don't want no leaks!

This fitting is manufactured from steel, which is compatible with most hydraulic fluids when properly installed.
