That's correct. This fitting adapts from an M20 x 1.5 male metric thread to a G 1/2 - 14 female BSPP swivel.

Got a hose assembly running off an M20 x 1.5 port and need to tie into a G 1/2-14 BSPP female connection on the other end, this fitting cover that transition?

That's exactly what this fitting handles. One end is M20 x 1.5 male metric, the other is G 1/2-14 female BSPP, straight body, steel construction. The swivel on the BSPP end lets the hose rotate after the fitting is made up, which keeps twist and strain out of the line once everything is tightened down.
