got a line running G 3/4 male on one end and need to step down to a G 5/8 female connection with some rotation capability, this swivel do that?

That's what this fitting handles. The male side is G 3/4 - 14 BSPP and the female side is G 5/8 - 14 BSPP, so you're getting a thread reduction along with the swivel function in one piece. Both sides are straight, so no angled offset to worry about fitting into tight spots. Steel construction throughout, and at 53mm long with channel widths of 32mm and 30mm, it's a pretty compact unit for what it does.
