fitting's 45mm long total, that gonna be enough clearance to get a wrench on both ends without fighting it?

Both wrench flats are 27mm, same size on each end, so you can use the same wrench throughout without swapping. At 45mm overall length, there's enough separation between the two engagement points that a standard open-end or combination wrench sits comfortably on either flat. Tight quarters can still be a challenge depending on the surrounding hardware, but the geometry here doesn't create any unusual access problems on its own.

trying to swap a fitting out, are the ends on this one G 5/8-14 male and G 1/2-14 female swivel?

On the port side, it’s a BSPP male G 5/8 - 14 on one end and a BSPP female swivel G 1/2 - 14 on the other.
