Will this fitting work with standard BSPP threads?

It sure will. This swivel fitting has a G 3/8 - 19 male thread on one side and a G 1/4 - 19 female thread on the other, both BSPP.

got a hose end that’s G 3/8 - 19 BSPP male. will this swivel onto it and step down to a G 1/4 - 19 female?

The threads on this adapter are G 3/8 - 19 BSPP male on one side and G 1/4 - 19 BSPP female on the other, in a straight swivel style. If your mating parts are those same BSPP thread callouts, it matches that connection and gives you the 3/8 to 1/4 changeover.

That's what this fitting is built for. One side is a G 3/8 - 19 male thread and the other is a G 1/4 - 19 female, so it bridges that 3/8 to 1/4 size step-down while also giving you swivel movement. Both sides are BSPP thread type, so as long as your ports and fittings match that thread form, you're in good shape.
