Got a line running JIC fittings on one end and the other side needs to tie into a British-threaded port, will this adapter handle that crossover without needing anything else in between?

That's exactly what this fitting is built for. One end is a 1-inch male JIC with a 1-5/16-12 UN thread, and the other is a 3/4-inch male BSPT running an R 3/4-14 thread. As long as both those sizes match your line and your port, you can make that connection directly with this one piece.
