trying to hook a JIC hose end up to a BSPT port, is this the right little adapter for that?

For that kind of mix-and-match, this connector is meant to bridge a 3/8 inch Male JIC on one side to a 3/8 inch Male BSPT on the other. The JIC end is 9/16 - 18 UNF, and the BSPT end is R 3/8 - 19.
