got a 1/4" JIC male fitting on my hydraulic line and need to tie into something with a 1/8" BSPP female port. this adapter do the trick?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a 1/4" Male JIC with a 7/16-20 UNF thread, and the other is a 1/8" Female BSPP on a G 1/8-28 thread. Straight body, steel construction, so it'll hold up in a working hydraulic setup without any fuss.
