Product Questions & Answers

Got a piece of equipment running a BSPT port but everything else on the line is NPT, will this nipple get me sorted out without having to swap fittings on both ends?
Question by: Duane M on Jul 22, 2025, 4:09 PM
That's exactly the situation this fitting handles. One end is a 1-1/2" male BSPT threaded R 1-1/2 - 11, and the other is a 1-1/2" male NPT at 1-1/2 - 11.5 NPTF. Both sides are the same nominal size, so you're bridging two different thread standards without stepping up or down in diameter. Steel construction, straight profile, and a 51mm wrench flat give you enough to work with during installation.

What's the wrench size on this nipple fitting? Just need to make sure I have the right tools handy.
Question by: Harold M on May 8, 2025, 5:17 PM
The wrench flat measures 51mm, so you'll need a wrench that size to tighten it properly.

got a valve with a 1-1/2" BSPT port and my hose end is 1-1/2" NPTF. is this the right nipple to marry those up
Question by: Pete W on Oct 12, 2025, 6:00 AM
For that exact thread changeover, this nipple is the match. One end is 1-1/2 inch male BSPT (R 1-1/2 - 11) and the other end is 1-1/2 inch male NPTF (1-1/2 - 11.5).
