got a 2 inch BSPP port on one side and 2 inch NPT on the other, is this the straight nipple that ties those together?

Built for exactly that adapter job, it has a 2 inch male BSPP thread on side 1 (G 2 - 11) and a 2 inch male NPTF thread on side 2 (2 - 11.5 NPTF), both in a straight steel nipple.

Got a pump manifold here with a 2" BSPP port and the mating piece is NPT. This nipple gonna bridge that gap straight up?

That's what this fitting handles. One end is 2" male BSPP (G 2-11 thread), the other is 2" male NPT (2-11.5 NPTF), so it connects those two thread standards directly without any intermediate adapter. Both sides are the same 2" size, so flow path stays consistent across the connection. Steel construction, and at 67.1mm overall length it's a fairly compact piece for what it's doing.

Reckon this'll hold up okay for hooking up some hydraulic lines? I need to make sure it won't leak on me.

Designed to adapt BSPP to NPT connections, this steel nipple fitting should provide a solid, leak-free connection when properly installed. Just be sure both sides are torqued to the appropriate spec for your system.
