Got a piece of equipment running BSPP fittings on one end and NPT on the other, does this nipple actually bridge both those thread standards in a single piece?

That's what it's built for. One side cuts to G 1-1/4 - 11 BSPP and the other runs 1-1/4 - 11.5 NPTF, so you're connecting those two thread systems without needing any intermediate adapters.
