trying to hook a british parallel port to a npt line, is this the right nipple for that?

For switching between thread standards, this part is a straight steel nipple with a G 5/8 - 14 BSPP male on one end and a 1/2 - 14 NPTF male on the other, so it’s meant to bridge those two connections.

Got a piece of equipment running BSPP fittings and the new line I'm hooking into is NPT, this the right adapter to bridge that gap?
