Product Questions & Answers

Will this here fitting let me hook up a British pipe thread to a regular NPT one?
Question by: Rod H on Dec 1, 2025, 8:33 PM
Yes, this male BSPP x male NPT nipple allows you to connect a British Standard Pipe Parallel (BSPP) threaded connection to a National Pipe Tapered (NPT) threaded connection. Side 1 features a 1/4" BSPP male connection, while Side 2 has a 1/2" NPT male connection.

got a pump port that’s G 1/4 - 19 BSPP and the other side of my line is 1/2 - 14 NPTF. is this the right nipple to tie those together?
Question by: Connie G on Feb 11, 2026, 3:22 PM
For that exact thread mix, yes. Side 1 is a male BSPP with a G 1/4 - 19 callout and 1/4 inch size, and Side 2 is a male 1/2 - 14 NPTF connection, so it is meant to bridge BSPP to NPT on a straight nipple.

Got a piece of equipment running G 1/4 BSPP on one port and need to tie into a 1/2 NPT line on the other end. this nipple gonna bridge that gap without needing extra adapters in between?
Question by: Stan W on Oct 14, 2025, 6:37 AM
That's exactly the gap this fitting covers. One end is a G 1/4-19 BSPP male thread, and the other is a 1/2-14 NPTF male thread, so you're going straight from that British Standard parallel thread directly into your NPT line in one piece. No stacking adapters, no extra joints. At 39mm long and made from steel, it keeps things tight and compact without sacrificing strength.
