trying to hook a 2 inch JIC hose end to a 2 inch BSPP port. is this the right adapter?

For that setup, it matches up as a straight steel adapter with a 2 inch male JIC on one side (2-1/2 - 12 UN thread) and a 2 inch male BSPP on the other (G 2 - 11 thread). It is made for connecting JIC to BSPP interfaces.
