got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC male, will this adapter let me hook it to a G 1/4-19 BSPP port?

For tying those two thread standards together, it’s the right style. One side is a 9/16 - 18 UNF JIC male (3/8 inch) and the other side is a G 1/4 - 19 BSPP male (1/4 inch), both in a straight steel adapter.
