got a port that’s G 3/8-19 BSPP on one side and M18 x 1.5 on the other. is this the straight adapter for that?

One end carries a G 3/8-19 male BSPP thread and the other end is an M18 x 1.5 male metric thread. So if you've got a component with a BSPP port and another with a metric port, this piece bridges them in a straight line without any angled routing. Both ends are male, so you'd need female-ported components on each side to make up the connection.
