Got a piece of equipment running BSPP fittings on one end and JIC on the other, this adapter handle that kind of crossover?

That's what this one's built for. One end is 7/16-20 UNF male JIC, the other is G 1/4-19 male BSPP, both in 1/4" size. So if you're bridging a JIC line to a BSPP port, this straight adapter covers that connection without needing additional hardware in between.

trying to hook a jic line to a bspp port. is this the right adapter for 1/4 on both sides?

For that kind of mix-and-match, it’s a straight steel adapter with a 1/4 inch male JIC end threaded 7/16-20 UNF and a 1/4 inch male BSPP end threaded G 1/4-19. It’s meant to bridge those two thread styles in one piece.
