both ends on this thing are M16 x 1.5 threads, right? just want to make sure before I order

Correct on both counts. Each end carries M16 x 1.5 male metric threads at 16mm, so you're getting a true like-to-like adapter straight through. No mismatched sizing to worry about.

got two metric ports that are both m16 x 1.5, will this straight adapter join them up?
