trying to match up a nipple i pulled off, what sizes are on each end of this one?

It is a straight steel BSPP nipple with a 1-1/2 inch male BSPP on Side 1 (G 1-1/2 - 11) and a 1-1/4 inch male BSPP on Side 2 (G 1-1/4 - 11).

Got a 1-1/2 inch BSPP port on one side and a 1-1/4 on the other, this nipple gonna bridge them two together alright?

That's what this fitting is built for. One end is a 1-1/2 inch male BSPP with a G 1-1/2 - 11 thread, and the other is a 1-1/4 inch male BSPP with a G 1-1/4 - 11 thread. Both sides are male, so you'd be threading each end into female BSPP ports on your components. Straight body, 53.3mm long, made from steel. If your ports match those specs, it'll connect them clean.

What's the deal with the different sized ends on this nipple? Just trying to make sure I get the right thing for my setup.

This BSPP nipple has a 1-1/2" male BSPP on one side and a 1-1/4" male BSPP on the other. The different sizes allow for connecting two fittings or components with dissimilar BSPP port sizes.
