Got a 1-1/4 inch BSPP port on a manifold block and need to reduce it down to 1/2 inch BSPP for a smaller line. This nipple do that job in one shot?

That's what this fitting handles. One end is 1-1/4 inch male BSPP, the other is 1/2 inch male BSPP, so you're stepping down two full sizes without needing an extra adapter in between. Both threads are parallel BSPP, and the fitting is straight steel construction, so it should drop right into that application without any surprises.
