Product Questions & Answers

Got a reducer situation where I need to step down from 3/4 to 3/8 on a BSPP line. This the right piece for that?
Question by: Ross H on Jun 17, 2025, 8:10 PM
That's what this fitting handles. One end is G 3/4 - 14 and the other is G 3/8 - 19, both male BSPP threads, so it'll bridge that size difference in a parallel-thread BSPP circuit without needing extra adapters in between. Steel construction holds up well in working hydraulic environments, and at 40.5mm long it stays compact enough to fit into tighter hydraulic connections layouts.

trying to hook up a 3/4 bspP port to a 3/8 bspP hose end, is this the right nipple for that?
Question by: Daryl W on Sep 15, 2025, 6:52 AM
For that kind of step-down connection, it matches up as a straight steel BSPP nipple with male threads on both ends. One side is G 3/4 - 14 male and the other side is G 3/8 - 19 male.

Will this nipple work okay with different sized fittings? Like, one side's bigger than the other, right?
Question by: Warren B on Feb 9, 2026, 9:54 PM
That's correct. This BSPP nipple has different sized male threads on each side. One side is G 3/4 - 14 (3/4 inch), and the other is G 3/8 - 19 (3/8 inch), making it suitable for connecting different sized ports.
