both sides on this fitting are M12 x 1.5 DIN tube connections right? just want to make sure before I order

Correct on both counts. Each side uses an M12 x 1.5 thread and connects to an L06 size DIN tube. The fitting is male on both ends, so as long as your tubing matches those specs, you're good to go.

What's the width across the flats on both sides of this fitting? Gotta make sure my wrenches will fit.

You'll need a 12mm wrench for one side and a 17mm wrench for the other to properly tighten this union.
