So, this is just for metric fittings, right? Won't work on standard stuff?

Correct. This bonded seal is specifically designed for metric hydraulic connections, fitting size 08 metric threaded ports as defined by the ISO 9974 standard. It will not work with standard or imperial sized fittings.
